Hello this is John English, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Beaverhead County High School with important information for our graduating seniors.
Graduation caps, gowns, tassels and chords are available here at the school to be picked starting today May 4th during normal school hours. Come to the front entrance and pick up your gear from boxes under the tables to your left. If you need to pay please write the check to Jostens and contact Mrs. Ferris when you arrive. She will collect the check and give you the regalia.
Graduation will be held at Vigilante Stadium on May 24th at 2:00 PM rain or shine. Attendance will be limited under social distancing rules. Each graduate will be allowed 2 guests with up to 3 alternates that may be allowed if we can find the space. This makes for a total of up to 5 per graduating family. Please call the school or email me with your top two and up to three alternates no later than Friday of this week.
There will be a parade after graduation weather permitting. The parade will follow the Labor Day parade route ending on Railroad Avenue with graduates dispersing to their families after the parade. We need 10-15 flatbed hay trailers, trucks and drivers to pull it off. Please email or call if you are willing to bring a trailer and or truck and drive.
If you haven’t submitted a picture for the senior slide show and you want to be in the show contact Cole Lappe or Jennifer Hoerner via email to submit your photo.
Baccalaureate will be conducted via streaming remote and will be available to view on Saturday May 23rd at 7:00 PM.
The awards assembly will not take place but the awards and awardees will be featured in a full page add in the Dillon Tribune the week of May 20th. We will need a roster of everyone planning to attend.
Graduation rehearsal will take place the Thursday before graduation. More information to follow.
! Have a Great Evening!
