Powerschool Data Breach FAQs (PowerSchool.com)
On January 7, 2025 we learned of a data security incident experienced by PowerSchool, a third-party vendor whose platform we use to manage student and employee information. Our systems have not been affected. However, certain information belonging to our district that was stored on the PowerSchool Student Information System may have been involved.
PowerSchool informed us that it became aware of this incident on December 28, 2024 and immediately began an investigation with the assistance of third-party specialists. PowerSchool will be reaching out directly to any individuals who may have been impacted. If your information was affected, you will receive a letter in the mail from PowerSchool providing more information.
Because this event involved PowerSchool's network, we do not have any additional details about the incident or the investigation at this time. We continue to monitor updates from PowerSchool and will share those updates as they become available.
