Tonight at 6:30 PM parents of students who are enrolled in our Boys and Girls Health Enhancement I classes will get the following robocall.
Good evening, this is Megan Conrow the Superintendent at Beaverhead County High School with an important announcement. Starting on Tuesday, October 1st, our Health Enhancement I teachers for both boys and girls will start teaching sex education lessons. There are a total of 8 lessons, and they will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays during our Health Enhancement classes. Again, this will start on Tuesday, October 1st. I sent out an email to all of you this morning with a link to preview the curriculum, and I also attached the letter that allows you to opt your child out of part or all of the lessons. After reviewing the curriculum, if you would like to opt your child out, please return the opt out form to the main office noting what modules you are opting out of. If you did not get the email or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the high school at 406-683-2361, during regular business hours.
Below you will find a link to the curriculum and the opt-out letter that was included in the email.
