Attention families with a son or daughter in Health Enhancement I Boy or Girls:
Good evening, this is Megan Conrow the Superintendent at Beaverhead County High School with an important announcement. Starting on Tuesday, April 30, our Health Enhancement I teachers for both boys and girls will start teaching sex education lessons. There are a total of 8 lessons, and they will be taught on the next four Tuesdays and Thursdays during their Health Enhancement class. Again, this will start on Tuesday, April 30th. As indicated in the letter that was recently sent out to families, this sex education curriculum is available for review on our high school website at www.bchsmt.com. Also included in this letter was an opt out form that you can use if you do not want your son or daughter to participate in these lessons. A copy of the letter that was sent out to families and the opt out form are also available on our school website. If you would like to opt your child out of some or all lessons, please return the opt out form to the main office ASAP. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the high school during regular business hours.
